Consider having your children design your Christmas card or New Year card this year. Ask your children to draw their wishes for the planet, animals, or other children. You may find that one of their drawings ends up to be perfect for a custom-made card from your family. Or you might use some piece of existing artwork that you saved from this year.

You can use Shutterfly.com or a similar site to make your own cards from a scan of your kids’ drawings. I happen to use Shutterfly myself – I’m not an affiliate, just a fan.
