I am so excited! This week I will not be working. I am just practicing hygge and sitting in a cozy chair and reading books and magazines, and binge-watching TV and refusing to get up.

I noticed on social media that people are writing out their New Years Resolutions or #20for2020 already. I am going to do that too, but I’m not ready to think about that yet. I just want to enjoy this Christmas week without thinking ahead to the next event already. However, if your mind is wandering this week, maybe jot down some plans as they are going through your head. Things you want to do, see, taste, or make in 2020.

I am also going to stick at least one half-gallon of eggnog in my deep freezer so I can have some later in the year. This is also my last chance to figure out what we are having for Christmas breakfast and dinner and making sure I have the groceries for it. We do not travel or have guests over on Christmas day, so I don’t really have to think about it very far in advance.

Enjoy this week! Whether you do the 12 days of Christmas, or whether is Christmas is the final day of your celebration, it is time to relax and enjoy the upcoming special days.
