Make your cinnamon sugar a little more grown up by adding some nutmeg or cardamom. Put on your butter toast as usual, or add to yogurt, warm milk, applesauce, or popcorn.

A good proportion is 2 tablespoons cinnamon to 1/2 cup granulated sugar. The sugar can be white sugar or any alternative granulated sugar that you like. Then add either 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom.
