Last week we had a couple of prompts related to the last day of school. In some parts of the United States this is coming up soon in May, though other states let out mid-June.

We talked about a possible teacher gift of friendship tea, and also having your kids make cards for all of their classmates.

While we’re on that subject, let’s prepare a last day of school gift for your kids. This could be a gift basket with summer things, like a new swimsuit and beach towel, water toys, bubbles, or sidewalk chalk. It could just be a small token – a little surprise to celebrate the last day.

To help declutter, you might have your kids trade you some of their old toys and swimsuits for the new ones.
