This week we prepare for the long weekend ahead with the observance of Memorial Day in the United States.

Most of this week’s prompts don’t require any advance planning on your part. If you have one of those big bags of tea lights around, it could come in handy. Also some washi tape, particularly the half-inch width. We’ll be crafty with these things on Thursday.

On Friday, I’m posting a recipe for cranberry fluff. You know that here at CM365 I encourage you to freeze a bunch of bags of fresh cranberries when they are available in the holiday season. We’re going to get those out now, and make a yummy “salad” for the weekend. If you have used up all your cranberries, you can make a traditional Watergate salad with a box of pistachio pudding. You will also need to have a bag of mini marshmallows, an 8 oz can of crushed pineapple, some cream cheese, and 2 cups of heavy whipping cream.

If you’re celebrating Mother’s Day, I hope you have the loveliest of days today.

Have a great week!
