April showers are leaving us, and we have welcomed the month of May! I’m afraid I’m echoing a lot of others on the internet when I say that the months (and days) are blurring together right now. Most of April I thought was May anyway. Really. Well, now I won’t sound so confused when I insist that it is May. It’s finally here for real.

If you are a Star Wars fan, then you’re already familiar with “May the 4th Be With You” day. It is coming up tomorrow – how will you celebrate? Dressing up in costume? An impromptu movie marathon?

Tuesday we have a Halloween-related prompt that is actually appropriate for this time of year. Hint: put some pumpkin seeds on your grocery order list. The ones from the garden section, not the roasted ones.

On Friday I am sharing a recipe for “friendship tea” or “Russian tea”.

Mother’s Day is one week away. Just a reminder in case you want to schedule flower delivery for your mom. But if that’s not your thing, that’s ok. On Saturday we will talk about non-traditional ways to observe the day.

Have a great week!
