I’m excited to report that a couple homes in my neighborhood have already put up their outdoor Christmas lights! Those people aren’t afraid of Christmas coming too early, and I love ’em!

As you’re grocery shopping, start stocking up on fresh cranberries. Buy a few extra pounds and put them in your freezer. There are so many cranberry recipes and crafts, and so you’ll want extra on hand to pull out six months from now for a Christmas-y cranberry surprise.

This week I will show you a beautiful way to decorate using cranberries as vase filler for a floral bouquet. I’m posting the tutorial on (almost) Wordless Wednesday.

I am also sharing an easy recipe for homemade bread. Well, if you’ve been around the Internet in the last decade, this is now an old easy recipe. You will need unbleached all-purpose flour, kosher salt, and granulated yeast. If you’ve never used the Artisan Bread in Five Minutes recipe, on Friday I’m going to highly recommend that you give it a try.

Look around your home for fleece blankets that aren’t already in use. Maybe ones you got as gifts or were free gift-with-purchase items, ones that are still in the linen closet. We are going to have a prompt this week, and next week as well regarding fleece blankets. If you are in the department store, take note of fleece blanket prices. This time of year you can find ones for a real bargain. $20 is not a bargain, you should be able to find them for less, or even much less. Just keep this in the back of your mind as you are running errands, as this information might be useful later.

Two prompts this week involve Christmas apps and music apps. I had fun comparing a bunch of apps to find the best ones…

Have a great week!

It is extremely windy at my house today. We were hoping for a longer summer, but today definitely feels like fall is approaching. I saw a cute video circulating the Internet - one leaf falls, and the lady runs into the house and gets out the hoodies and boots, the...
