Thanksgiving week is here! For reals now, you need to thaw that frozen turkey in your fridge, or it won’t be ready in time for Thursday. If you haven’t already gone over your menu and grocery list, do it now too, before the grocery stores sell out of whipped cream!

Clean out and organize your coat closet. Make sure everyone’s snow boots still fit. Make room for guests’ coats if you have people visiting for holidays. If you need to temporarily remove things in order to make room for guests’ coats, you might make temporary storage inside of empty luggage. Just make a note to yourself so you don’t forget where you put those extra rainboots.

If you happen to be cracking walnuts this week, try to save those shells if you think you would like to make the cute walnut shell doll beds on Saturday.

I’m also sharing a children’s (or even adults’) thankfulness rhyme that involves passing a handkerchief, because it rhymes with Thankerchief. Look around this week for a suitable “Thankerchief” which could simply be a bandana or scarf or cloth table napkin or anything representing a Thankerchief.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving week. I am truly grateful that you are here.
