We are getting closer to that spookiest of holidays. My oldest daughter has finally finished her Halloween costume, so I feel more ready for the kids’ celebrations coming up.

This week I have a few things for your grocery list. A small pumpkin and some fresh flowers – you’ll see the project tomorrow. Also for a Harry Potter-inspired beverage, you’ll need a 2-liter bottle of cream soda, some rum extract (which is also good to have on hand for eggnog-flavored things), a bottle of that imitation butter flavor that you can get in the extract section (I never thought I would write that), marshmallow fluff, and whipping cream.

The rest of the week includes a couple prompts to get you thinking about how you’re going to celebrate upcoming special days.

Enjoy, and have a great week!
