If you would like to grow your own Halloween pumpkins, start researching now because you will likely be planting soon. (Mid-May for northern climates and June for southern climates, but check with your local nursery to find out for sure for your area.) My kids and I actually planted ours already. Then a whole bunch of weeds came up, I think. I had to Google “pumpkin seedlings” to see what the seedlings are supposed to look like so I can confirm when they do sprout.
