Readers, I need help figuring out what inspired today’s prompt. I remember some classic novel, set in the past, where the young ladies decided (rather reluctantly) to save some special magazines for Christmas. I could have sworn it was one of the Little House books, but for the life of me I can’t find the actual reference. Was it actually in Little Women? I couldn’t find the reference there either. If you know, please answer in the comments.

At any rate, using this scene for inspiration, find a special unread book or magazine and save it for yourself for Christmas Day. It will be your own secret, your own special something to look forward to. For the past 2 years my treat is the Cozy issue of Bella Grace magazine, which you can pick up at that link or at Barnes and Noble.
