Stock up on your favorite scented candles or soaps or whatevers now. My favorite is the pine tree scented tealights by Carolina Candle.

The first year I found them, I was surprised when I realized my local department store didn’t stock them year round. I got a little crazy and searched out some old stock on eBay so I could continue to burn my favorite scented candles in the summer. The following year the candles returned and I was sure to get enough to last me a while.

I know it seems like the season just started, but before you know it the seasonal scents are going to be phased out already. Keep this in mind as you’re watching the clearance sales.

I have to do this same thing at the end of summer when all the strawberry-scented candles are going away.
