Last year, four friends in New Jersey created and launched the first ever Christmas Con. Fans of Hallmark Christmas movies could attend the convention, watch the panels, and stand in lines to meet their favorite Hallmark movie celebrities and buy an autograph or take a selfie.

This year, a virtual Christmas Con is scheduled for the weekends of Aug 22-23 and Aug 29-30. Some of the panels and events are FREE, but you need to pre-register. You can also still purchase autographs. Since selfies aren’t available, this year you can purchase a 2-3 minute one-on-one video call with your favorite celebrity. It’s pretty expensive, so I won’t be scheduling any time with Danica McKellar to ask her a math question, but if you’ve always dreamed of doing that, now you can. For a lower price, you can purchase a customized video message from the celebrity, which could be a cute gift for someone on your Christmas list.
